FC Bucklebury Cougars
FC Bucklebury Cougars are a fun and friendly football club based in Bucklebury and Thatcham in West Berkshire. We welcome boys and girls of all abilities who are keen to play regular football, and also run an adult ladies team.We have teams in the Reading and West Berkshire League and the Peter Houseman Youth League. All our teams play home and away fixtures on Sundays and run additional training sessions during the week. Please see our team pages for more details on times and locations. We are a non-profit community football club run entirely by volunteers.

We are fully insured for public liability and for youth football personal accident.
All our managers and coaches have active enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding qualifications, and we help all coaches gain suitable FA qualifications.
NEWS: Presentation Day 2025
15 Jun 2025
Our annual end of season presentation day will be the morning of Sunday 15 June 2025 from 10am, at Bucklebury Recreation Ground, and all our players will receive personalised trophies using photos taken at our club photoshoot.
If you ordered photos for club delivery these will be available for collection at our presentation day.
We will hold some activities on the field, including speed shot, to raise some money for the club with prizes for the highest scores by age group. Refreshments will also be on sale, so please bring down some money - card payment will also be available.
We also already have some great prizes this year for our raffle, but if you could donate prizes please bring them along on the day.
Volunteers will be needed to run the activities and to help with refreshments.
If you could bake or donate a cake for sale please let us know!
