FC Cougars
FC Cougars are a fun and friendly youth football club based in West Berkshire. We have players from Thatcham, Bucklebury, Cold Ash and the surrounding areas. We welcome boys and girls of all abilities who are keen to play regular football.We have teams in the Reading and West Berkshire League and the Peter Houseman Youth League. All our teams play home and away fixtures on Sundays and run additional training sessions during the week. Please see our team pages for more details on times and locations. We are a non-profit community football club run entirely by volunteers.

All our managers and coaches have active enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding qualifications, and we help all coaches gain suitable FA qualifications.
NEWS: Players and Volunteers Wanted for New Season

We have lots of exciting opportunities for young players and adult volunteers ahead of the new 2024/2025 season!
Our community club is run entirely by volunteers are we are looking for more volunteers to help with football coaching. No experience is needed, but you must share our club ethos of making football safe and fun for our young players. The club will help and pay for your qualifications.
The volunteer roles would be perfect if you have a child, grandchild, or relative currently in school years 3 or 4 who would like to join a football team.
Our current U6s and U7s are expanding and looking to each run extra teams next season. Our U11s are looking to add players as they move into competitive football.
FC Cougars are based in Thatcham and Bucklebury and are an FA Accredited club.
We are now welcoming enquiries for all age groups as we begin re-registration for the new season.
NEWS: Presentation Day 2024

We will be holding our end of season presentation day at Bucklebury Recreation Ground on Sunday 16 June. So all our players can get personalised trophies printed with their name and photo we will be holding a photoshoot on Thursday 9 May, also at Bucklebury Rec. Photos will be available for optional purchase.
